Paraplanner – Wolverhampton - £34k DOE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Paraplanner to join our Financial Advisory business based in Wolverhampton. We are a progressive and growing company that are devoted to helping individuals with their financial needs. We have a successful team of independent financial advisers and dedicated client managers who provide client focussed advice in all aspects of financial planning. The successful candidate will provide technical support and will need to ensure they adhere to agreed processes, procedures and timelines to the highest standards.

Experience: Level 4 Diploma Qualified, Experience working within a Financial Services environment, Maths and English GCSE A-C or equivalent, knowledge of financial service industry, Degree Level Qualification, Good communication and telephone skills, attention to detail, exceptional organisational and planning abilities, computer literate, team player, desire to grow industry knowledge.

Responsibilities:

* Build strong relationships with clients
* Review investments and clients financial situation for review meetings
* Preparation of meeting agenda and minutes
* Research and preparation of client recommendations
* Preparing a variety of documentation, reports, letters and summaries
* Submission of new business, pro-actively pushing through and chasing fees
* Ensure all files are compliant
* Produce quarterly valuations
* Review and rebalance client portfolios
* Inputting data into back office system
* Service existing clients & resolve customer queries
* Manage high workload and meet challenging deadlines adhering to SLAs
* Keep abreast of regulatory procedures and industry changes
* Any other duties considered commensurate to the post

Skills:

* Level 4 qualifications, working towards Level 4 Financial Planning Certification
* Awareness of markets and industry regulations
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Good analytical and numerical skills
* Computer literate.
* Strong technical and product knowledge, including pensions.
