Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager on a 3 months contract with a possibility of an extension.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a part time position, working 22hrs a week.

Purpose of the role –

* To maximise income from venue hire through Forest venues, room hire, Museum, and Gallery.
* To ensure Forest venues are safe, secure and well presented to maximise customer satisfaction and maximise income generated
* To support the Sales team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve income targets
* To promote and market Forest venues and manage social media
* To research, develop and deliver venue and client events
* To provide a professional, proactive, customer focussed business administrative service to the organisation within the relevant service area.

Duties/Responsibilities –

* Oversee and update editorial of Forest Venues website and other marketing material
* Oversee branding of new venues pack, Revise T&C and venues client booking form
* Build, manage and update database of subscribers
* Research and prepare branded press pack for all venue based events (as above) and list with all magazines and website associated with event
* Manage and promote Forest Venues through social media creating awareness of the website

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications/Experience –

* Effective Communicator
* Experience of planning Marketing Projects
* Previous experience in a Customer Service/Customer Facing Role
* Experience of having worked in a fast paced, customer focused environment.
* Excellent knowledge and application of IT systems and software packages.
* Relevant legislative and or procedural knowledge for specialist area.
* Ability to work with minimum supervision, using problem solving skills and initiative to provide a customer focused support service.
* Excellent levels of literacy and numeracy.
* Ability to deal diplomatically and confidentially with a wider range of stakeholders internally and externally
* Commercial approach
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent customer care skills
* Marketing & sales experience
* Ability to identify improvements to processes and systems and to share the recommendations with the wider team
