Investment Administrator

Birmingham City Centre

Bell Cornwall Recruitment has been instructed on a fantastic opportunity with an Investment Management firm based in Birmingham City Centre. Our client is seeking an Investment Administrator to join the company to provide efficient secretarial and administrative support.

You will be required to act as a resource for the team, showing a willingness to learn and take on and additional work as requested by the team. Your duties will include:

  • Preparation of detailed reports and presentations
  • Diary-coordination, organising meetings (internal and external) and attending meetings where necessary
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with general enquiries
  • Database upkeep and management
  • General file maintenance (filing, archiving), distributing and franking daily post

Due to the nature of this role it is essential that applicants have strong skills with Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook) and a minimum of 18 months commercial experience, ideally within a PA or secretarial or administration role. The ideal candidate will also posses strong written and verbal communication skills and the energy and enthusiasm for achieving set objectives to a high standard. Candidates must be able to effectively balance priorities and demonstrate the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
