Product & Application Specialist / Technical Sales Support – Microscopy Systems (CC665-JS)

Location: Based in London

They have both the revenue and structure to sustain the long term development and advancement of employees.Their equipment is relied upon in the academic, research and industrial sectors allowing them to become recognised across the globe as a leader in their field.


You will operate as a microscopy specialist and assist customers and other internal functions of the business with pre-sales support, after-sales support and technical support.

Other duties will include;

Maintaining regular contact with key research professionals in your territory and forwarding any potential leads to the sales team.Assisting the sales team by performing equipment demonstrations and producing technical quotations. Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing the service team with after-sales software, hardware and application support. Understanding & researching the market to identify potential customers based on their requirements. PERSONThe ideal candidate will be educated to a minimum of degree level and preferably hold an MSc or PhD in Bioscience, Biophysics or a related discipline studying the molecular biology of the cell.

It is essential all candidates possess hands on experience using microscopy systems and analysis software in either their education or in employment and have a strong understanding of cell imaging techniques.

Past experience providing technical or pre-sales support would be a distinct advantage.

Other key skills include:

    A confident communicator with the ability to discuss complex technical matters to both technical and non-technical professionals.Knowledge of related microscopy software packages.A full UK driving licence.
