Marketing Manager – Specialist Independent Schools
12 month, minimum, fixed term contract (maternity cover)
Locations UK wide, possible home base
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager to provide support to the whole group, therefore willingness to travel is essential. At Kedleston our mission is to develop confident and capable young people by meeting their educational, health and social care needs in structured, nurturing school and home provisions. We work in partnership with young people, their families and carers and other stakeholders to achieve outcomes which make a difference. We are therefore looking for a passionate individual that has the skills to support us in this mission.
Kedleston Group Ltd is an independent provider of SEMH day and residential schools as well as children’s homes across England. Main Roles and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
* To work with the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Central Referral Manager to develop strategic business growth plans to drive new business across the schools and homes.
* To lead the organisations Marketing Strategy and work with key people inside and outside the organisation to raise the profile of Kedleston and drive business growth.
* To engage, as required with Local Authorities and other key stakeholders to support the schools and homes as well as the corporate commercial team in various business development and marketing focussed initiatives aimed at increasing referrals, new service developments and raising of local and national profile.
* Oversee our group’s customer databases.
* To develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels to drive our growth plan and improve our targeting of LA`s
* Contribute to the ongoing development and monitoring of external relationships, focusing on our Top 20 customers and generating more business from them.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and monitoring of Kedleston’s profile and brand management.
* To be a highly visible resource within the schools and homes, engaging with local senior leadership, staff and young people to ensure ‘good news’ stories and other information is regularly obtained and updated to the website and shared as appropriate on social media platforms..
* To ensure the website remains up-to-date, current and relevant.
* To keep up-to-date about developments and changes in Special Education and the Care of Children and Young People to influence our service delivery and model of care which ultimately drives our marketing campaigns.
* Communicate with internal stakeholders, Principals, Head Teachers, Registered Managers and the Kedleston Management Team.

Person Specification:
* Proven marketing experience in education / health care or care of young people (essential)
* Experience of working in support of business development / commercial teams
* Energy to develop our brand and presence in the market.
* Proven track record in the use and application of social media for business and in the development of digital marketing campaigns.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Creative and energetic
* Be able to work on own initiative and be pro-active.
* Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
* Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
* Confident and proficient in the use of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
* Ideally experience of using a CRM and products such as Mail Chimp or similar.
