Now we're looking to recruit a data quality analyst to shape our data quality strategy. What you'll do

You'll support the data governance team to deliver and define the data quality strategy for the Co-op. Transforming the way we use and fix data and how we define our data quality standards.
  • set principles and build of culture and practice of data quality excellence across the whole Co-op
  • work on data quality improvement projects using agile and waterfall methodologies
  • develop better ways of working, building and maintaining data quality artefacts (e.g. data flows, dictionaries, issues logs) to drive an improvement in our data quality landscape and data maturity
  • define requirements for implementing suitable tools to help data quality management
  • support the development of training and communications, helping to drive data change across the Co-op by delivering to the business in an easy to understand format

This role would suit people who have

  • experience of data quality improvement and managing and reducing data quality risks
  • excellent relationship building skills able to guide and influence partners in the business
  • knowledge of working with a range of data quality profiling, improvement and management tools (e.g. for example Trillium, Experian Pandora, Information Steward)
  • the ability to explain to the business in simple terms the business value data quality can provide
  • worked in a highly regulated or data centred organisation, would be an advantage
