Technical Services Manager - Permanent - Hampshire
Our client a leading MRO is currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Services Manager (Base/Line Maintenance) to manage the associated processes and manpower from start to finish within their Technical Services Department in accordance with EASA part M and other NAA requirements as appropriate to the aircraft fleet.

Main responsibilities:

Daily manager for all processes and manpower in Tech Services and Technical Records.
Manage aircraft deliveries, returns.
Management of workpack preparation and planning of base maintenance inputs
Develop and produce the Approved Maintenance Programmes for the Managed aircraft including submission of programmes to the NAA.
Aircraft reliability reporting and engine trend monitoring.
Manage and control maintenance tracking programmes(CAMP/CMP)
Manage the continuing Airworthiness Records Systems (Part MA 305)
Monitor CAA/JAA/EASA publications for amendments that affect the maintenance of aircraft.
Manage and participate in daily follow up meetings with customers
Responsible for coordination between Technical Services, Fleet management and other key departments.
Responsible for the Aircraft delivery and returns
Support the Technical Director on Safety Management System.
Lead and manage Technical Services engineers and Technical Records Administrators .
Work with the Technical Director to select/recruit/ and train new staff.
Control and Manage scheduled and unscheduled FDR and CVR readouts for the retention of the readouts and for the retention of the readout reports.
Develop 3rd parties Technical and CAMO services.
Nominated Airworthiness technical representative where required

The successful Technical Services Manager will have the following attributes:
Educated to degree level in a Technical subject or technical experience in Aviation gained at an appropriate level.
Hold a UK CAA B1 or B2 EASA Part 66 Licence.
Qualified to fulfil the Nominated Post Holder (EASA Form 4 ) fior ARC signatory.
Aircraft Maintenance knowledge is essential
Customer focused with an effective approach to problem solving
Fluent in English - Spoken and Written
Experience of CAMP/CMP
Understanding of EASA part M requirements and good understanding of EASA Part 145
Business Aviation experience
Experience of carrying out ARC Renewals and extensions.
Experience of taking Aircraft deliveries.
