Are you an inspiring individual looking for an exciting new challenge as a Year 6 Teacher?

Supply Desk is looking for a friendly and hard working Year 6 Teacher to join a good Primary school in Manchester with a potential to become permanent. The school will consider applicants who are NQTs and experienced teachers.

At an important stage of the children’s education, the incoming Year 6 teacher will need to have the utmost commitment and dedication to this post, taking on full-time responsibilities including planning, marking, data entry, parents evening, continual assessments etc.

In return, the management and whole school are ready to offer the successful Year 6 teacher extensive and regular support to best prepare the pupils for their upcoming SAT’s exams.

Job Description…

Deliver and plan lessons, create learning resources and maintaining classroom standards
Co-planning with other teachers and working alongside teaching assistants
Encouraging pupils’ development and understanding with effective lessons
Marking children’s work and undertaking assessments
Maintaining discipline and encouraging good behaviour

Person Specification…

Have a passion for providing children with innovative teaching to support their learning and development
Excellent knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
The ability to create an engaging curriculum, which will excite and inspire pupils
Experience teaching in KS2 and experience with SATs preparation and experience
