Team Leader for an established Account Handling team in Manchester. Work for a Global Broker. £40,000

Your new company

You will have the opportunity to work for a global broker based in central Manchester. They specialise in giving innovative service to clients ranging from local business's to global clients. Due to significant growth they are looking for a Team Leader to work with the Manager to lead their Account Handling team.

Your new role

In your new job you will wear two hats; both assisting in the people management of an established team, but also staying hands on and having your own book of corporate clients.

You'll be involved in supporting a busy team, as a senior member of staff who can help with high level queries and be an escalation point with issues within the department. The senior management team will look to you to play a key part in implementing and embracing organisational changes, assist in recruitment and build strong relations with internal stakeholders across the business.

The other side of your work will see you obtaining renewal terms for your clients before producing presentations for your account executive to present to clients. You will assist in client queries, liaise with insurers regarding potential changes and deal with potential changes for policies. In your new job you will also secure and check policy documentation from insurers and act as the point of contact for the account.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need previous experience working within the commercial insurance industry, ideally as a senior member of the team. Previous experience of working within a target based environment is vital, apart of the management team you will be expected to coach and performance manage other team members. Cert CII/Dip CII is desirable.
