Sunderland Greyhound Stadium is looking for a Tote and Cash Manager to join the team on a Permanent contract. This is a challenging and exciting role for a passionate and dedicated person where you can really make a difference and be part of this exciting time in our business. Reporting to the Operations Manager, Tote and Cash Manager will lead and inspire a team to exceed the stadium Tote Profit target through the delivery of operational excellence and the outstanding customer service. Some of the Key Responsibilities include Ensure smooth running of tote service during race meetings Manage all controllable costs with particular emphasis on staff costs Ensure all change and floats are prepared in advance of race meetings Ensure that all machines: Tote, FOBTS and ATM are fully operational at all times Oversee the input of every race result Ensure that all Stadium and cash balances and that banking is prepared for collection Adhering to security procedures Work with the Operations Manager to ensure profitability is maximised Proactively seek and build working relationships with key members at Datatote Ensure that Gambling commission training is carried out at induction and that new employees are compliant Be vigilant and ensure reporting staff are adhering to the Challenge 21 Policy Maintain adequate staffing levels Experience and Qualifications You will have previous experience in a similar environment Be accurate and have a good understanding of financial operations Hold GCSE’s grade C or equivalent Have a positive attitude Be trustworthy In return we will offer you A competitive salary 22 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays Contributory pension scheme Free parking Personal and professional development opportunities A range of racing & leisure benefits including complimentary tickets, offers and discounts at our racecourses and hotels across the Arena Racing Company and Galleon Hotel group.
