Sales Event Consultant


£20-22k plus bonus

Based in Brighton, you will be generating interest in attending events specifically tailored to the training industry. The role requires a high level of new business and as a result you will need to have a proactive and positive approach. You will be responsible for developing one-on-one relationships with new and established customers, colleges and training providers across the country.

Key Accountabilities

  • Meeting and exceeding delegate revenue targets
  • To negotiate rates in line with sales objectives
  • Developing long term relationships with clients and prospects
  • Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities
  • To make effective sales calls and send out proposals

Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Confident approach to selling including negotiating, handling objections, listening to the client's needs and adapting your sell to each individual client
  • Have experience in sales with a strong track record of achieving targets and experience in successfully engaging key decision makers
  • A confident communicator via phone and a consultative sales experience
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills as well as outstanding people skills
