Leading real estate developer with offices throughout the UK, currently looking for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Manchester. The succesful candidate will working closely with their internal Contractors in the delivery of all building and construction activity, supporting a full range of building projects to ensure they achieve the best value for all internal Building and Construction work.

Responsibilities include:
- Ensure we achieve best value for all of our internal Building and Construction work
- Provide cost estimates and tenders for refurbishment and fit-out works to our buildings
- Undertake valuations and manage cost variances during the construction stage
- Ensure successful delivery of suite refurbishment schemes
- Assist the delivery of refurbishments in line with the sales and letting plan
- Ensure all works are procured in line with the Company procurement strategy
- Supplier procurement and cash flow forecasting
- Prepare cost estimates for internal and external refurbishment along with customer fit-out
- Benchmark Analysis Tender Returns
- Prepare of Tender Documents, tender analysis and reporting, management of driving value and producing Contract Documents
- Agree and certifying Valuations
- Cash flow forecasts and manage project budgets
- Control and reporting of cost variances
- Agreement of Final Accounts

- Quantity Surveying degree
