Overview The Junior Software Developer (.Net) participates in all stages of development of several applications within the enterprise. Previous experiences with Enterprise Application development is a plus. The applications developed will rely greatly on data exchange between different systems and on reporting capabilities. Therefore, development experience with SSIS and SSRS is also a plus. Responsibilities Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents. Perform coding to written technical specifications. Investigate, analyze and document reported defects. Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects. Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses. Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates. Deliver complex applications with high code standards. Qualifications Highly Preferred: 3-5 years’ of software engineering with C#, ASP.NET 3 years’ of software engineering with MS SQL (2005 and further) – Data modeling + Data Access 3-5 years’ of experience with application debugging, design responsibilities Previous experience with Financial and/or Royalty systems Experience with Ruby on Rails Experience with creation of ETLs and complex data processes (SSIS) Experience with Reporting applications (SSRS) Experience with Windows development, in particular Windows Services Key Results and Deliverables (What does success look like): Highly responsible, detail-oriented problem solver with a proven ability to contribute to a creative environment Able to work well under pressure, and handle multiple tasks efficiently Apply good verbal and written skills Play an active role in discussing the evolution of the product Develop deep expertise in multiple areas Keep abreast of latest technologies and trends A charismatic and credible communicator who leads by example Strong team player who can build strong relationships at all levels of the organization Have excellent communication skills - written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal An ethical and proactive leader who can maximize the resources of a start-up environment
