This is a fast paced and exciting role which will involve the successful candidate working as part of the Finance Team to help manage a large portfolio of customer accounts. The successful candidate will be also responsible for all queries and investigations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Banking

    • supplier payments, posting payments and receipts, firming orders

  • Month end procedures

    • bank reconciliations, posting expenses, VAT and EC Sales reconciliations, inter-account reconciliations, SD declaration

  • Aged debtors

    • statements, invoicing (EDI), raising credit notes, chasing outstanding balances, credit insurance obligations, FBA invoices

  • Customer management

    • setting up new customers, prices and order forms

  • Petty cash management including cash in advance reconciliation

  • Ad hoc task as required by the department

The successful candidate:

  • Will have at least 2 years of experience on the Sales Ledger of a busy Finance team

  • Will understand the importance of delivering on time and accurately to our customers and working to internal deadlines

  • Will be a self-starter, motivated, enthusiastic and work on your own initiative and happy to take responsibility and success

  • Will have a methodical approach with an ability to work under pressure
