Automation Architect (Business Process Management) - Newport

The Automation Architect will play an integral role within my client's Automation Team which is part of the Change Delivery function. The BPM Automation Architect will ensure the business and its clients maximise the return on investment in both Business Process Management (BPM) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies and infrastructure through design and development of innovative solutions.

You will be working collaboratively with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Development and Operational Teams to advise, design and build cost effective process automation and management solutions and you will proactively challenge the performance of current processes and systems to identify and provide automated solutions that implement improvements to drive efficiency for both the business and it's clients.

The successful candidate will understand the fundamental roles of a BPM & RPA Architect, Designer and Developer and will have knowledge and appreciation of BPM and RPA software and the industry in general. You should also have experience of Database Development tools (SQL Server and SSIS) alongside experience of building or specifying technical solutions including database integration. This role would suit an experienced Business Analyst with a technical background and a desire to move into BPM and/or Robotics Process Automation.

Experience of Project Management tools (Agile or Waterfall) would be advantageous as would knowledge of process improvement/CI related accreditation (Six Sigma/Lean etc).

Knowledge of using PM Software tools, preferably Appian, is desirable as is a background in the Financial Services Sector.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £45,000 and a first-class benefits scheme including, profit related bonus scheme, 24 days annual leave and life assurance of four times your salary.
