A Purchase Ledger Assistant role is being recruited for a fast growing business in Chester.

A great company to work for, this business has a very low turnover and the staff love working there! They are now recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their successful accountancy team.

Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller for the site, your role as Accounts Assistant will be in a supportive capacity for all transactional processing and month end, as well as data analysis and process improvements. Key duties will include:

  • Processing accounts payable invoices, matching and coding on to the system
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with queries
  • Month end reconciliations
  • Posting journals

Profile

We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant with the following skills and experience:

  • Some experience working in a purchase ledger function
  • Strong Excel skills and able to efficiently use spreadsheets (pivots, tables, graphs)
  • Ability to work under pressure and possess strong organisational skills
  • Fantastic communication and able to build relationships across the business

Job Offer
