My big client in the legal sector is looking for a Web and Software Developer to come on board within their expanding team and assist in the growth of this even further at a real exciting time. Main responsibilities include:


  • Assist in the creation, launch and on-going development of our new client portal, including visualisation, design, layout, data capture and validation, and delivery.
  • Assist in testing projects such as the client portal, both from the perspective of functionality and user experience;
  • Maintain and develop scripts within SOS legal and respond to helpdesk logs raised by users;
  • Integrate our CMS with various external resources, such as the Land Registry, Companies House and other partner agencies;
  • Investigate, design and create API's using JSON, XML and other technologies as required;
  • Design and specify technological solutions in response to requests generated within the business;

The ideal candidate will have:


  • Experience and knowledge of the software development lifecycle, from design through programming and testing;
  • Experience in web design, to include designing, coding, testing, securing and maintaining;
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of relational databases including data interrogation and extraction using SQL or other database query language;
  • Experience in communicating with third party services using XML, JSON, REST or other methodologies;
  • Knowledge of scripting in any language, but ideally .NET, Python or Javascript;
