A leading eCommerce company based London are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their team after just gaining a large round of funding mainly dedicated to their tech team!
This company are changing the way that consumers are able to book and buy holidays. At the centre of this is their booking and search application.
As a Senior Java Developer you will be coming in and joining the team that is building an entirely new search and booking function. As a Senior Java Developer you will be working closely with the architects, tech leads and other developers to take the complex design of the system and turn it into a application that will handles millions of searches daily.
You will be working in a company where tech is properly first. They believe in using the best tech for the job and most of your work as a Senior Developer will be using some of the latest in the dev space including Java 8, WAS, Spring Boot and Docker. This company also believe that DevOps is a culture not a role and as a Senior Developer you will be heavily involved in this process.
To be considered for this Senior Java Developer role we would be looking for you to be able to demonstrate the following:
Working on a complex enterprise level application and be able to talk through the challenges and success that you have hadExperience having worked with Spring or Spring BootDemonstrable experience with CI/CD Maven or JenkinsHaving worked in an environment with good testing standards and experience with modern testing tools
The rest you will pick up on the job. It is a great role to gain experience with ElasticSearch, AWS and DevOps processes. On the benefits side there is a bonus, private health and very competitive pension.
