Store Manager & Supervisor

Salary is Circa £18/£19K depending upon experience for Manager and £8.00 per hour for Supervisor

We require experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments to join our latest temporary opening store located in The Parade, Sutton Coldfield. This will add to the existing three successful stores already in place. (Proposed opening 22nd September 2018)

We are looking for people who have a passion for retail & who can:

    Build & maintain relationships with customers and team members in a friendly and effective wayMaintain merchandising in the shop to a high standardEnsure very high levels of customer serviceOffer flexibility with working hoursBe able to work under pressure in a fast paced environmentHave good organisational skills
The Branch Manager(40 hours) will be responsible for driving performance and results to maximise sales. They must have a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of stock related processes and have good leadership skills in order to get the best out of your team, whilst having the drive and desire to deliver great customer service.

You will already be a Branch Manager with the following skills:

    To ensure integrity and accuracy of financial aspects, and that the Company procedures are followed, for example, banking, stock control, and that audits and checks can be verified to Company management and third parties.Ordering in goods, and supplies for the shop, ensuring adequate details are recorded and passed to Head office to substantiate all financial transactions, and within authorisation limits.To ensure procedures are in place to demonstrate stock control.Human Resources – conducting staff inductions and appraisals, supporting and training staff and on-going coaching and development. To record accurate time sheet data and any other personnel changes and advise to Head Office staff in time for payroll processing.To organise the staffing of the shop, communicating work shifts to staff and ensuring staff absences are covered and holidays are co-ordinated.To ensure Health and Safety requirements are satisfied and that the importance of a safe environment is communicated to staff, and that records are maintained in accordance with legislation. This includes maintaining a clean, safe shop and back office area, free from debris, trailing wires, etc.
Previous retail management experience is essential along with a proven track record of delivering sales against key targets and contributing towards business development. Highly effective communication skills with the ability to develop performing teams would be desirable.

The Supervisor (40 hours) will be passionate about our products and creating a sense of fun to inspire and motivate the team. You will work closely with your Manager to organise the team to maximise sales in a friendly & supportive atmosphere that creates a buzz on the shop floor for both your customers and staff.

You will relish a challenge, love taking responsibility and enjoy being part of a fun, friendly environment where people enjoy working with each other. You will already be a Supervisor with the following skills:

    Sales and Target DrivenThe ability to demonstrate a flair for merchandising.Positive, determined, proactive person with a can-do attitudeBe motivated and driven to ensure you achieve any challengePersonality to inspire the team and to create a fun, energized environmentManagement or supervisory experience in a Retail Environment ideally managing high volume salesYou will be a confident communicator and a natural motivatorYou will be reliable, trustworthy and conscientious
Previous Management or supervisory experience is essential along with a personality to inspire the team and to create a fun, energized environment.
