Interim Financial Controller
Harris Hill are proud to be working alongside a youth charity who work tirelessly to improve the future prospects of young people growing up in some of the most disadvantaged communities. This is a genuinely exciting role for a highly proficient and experienced Finance Controller. The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the organisation's financial management including charity accounting, statutory and financial reporting to senior management, preparing the budget & forecasts, reviewing and developing the internal control policies & procedures. As the Interim Finance Controller your responsibilities will also include producing and completing the annual audit and financial risk management. Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant with substantial experience of financial accounting in a senior role. Naturally, you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels having attained the experiences below: - Have proven working experience within a finance role - Manage audits (start to finish) - Produce Management Accounts - Experience working within the Charity Sector - Have strong leadership skills with experience of managing a small team - Have the ability to interpret and analyse complex data and be able to translate this information to your non-finance colleagues. Initially this is a 6 month FTC with the potential to be a permanent position.
