We are looking for an enthuasiastic, confident and highly organised individual to take on the management of the facilities at our brand new bespoke visitor centre at Sherwood Forest. Facilities Manager Reference number: A2610818 Location: Nottinghamshire Salary starting at: £19,602 to £21,869 per annum Hours: Full time Contract: Permanent We need someone who has a high attention to detail, the ability to negotiate and manage contracts, and the confidence to manage the back of house operations at this wonderful new site to ensure a positive and welcoming experience for the 350,000 visitors that will come through our doors each year. You will manage the facilities of the main buildings and surrounding environs to ensure they are clean and safe for both staff and visitors alike ensuring maintenance is planned and organised, and the contracts with suppliers are negotiated for the best quality service at an affordable cost. You will ensure there is adequate support in the office for the site operations and be responsible for ensuring administration processes are set up and adhered to across the site. Project management experience will be beneficial in this role, as well as an ability to prioritise work and remain calm in a busy work environment. The role will be varied and interesting, and we are looking for someone who can come and develop the role to make it their own. This role is full time and may involve some weekend and evening working so some flexibility will be needed. This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
