Our client, a highly regarded National Financial Advisory firm is looking for helpline advisers to become part of their newly formed Technical Connection Advice Framework Helpline team, based in Bristol. The team provide expert generic and technical support, predominantly via phone, to an agreed high quality and agreed service standards. Queries answered are in relation to the Advice Framework and company processing procedures, using an in depth knowledge and understanding of the Advice Framework to enable Advisers and their support staff to submit quality documentation to support their advice.

Roles are available within Pensions, Investment and Tax specialisms.

Key Responsibilities:
* To provide a peerless query resolution service to agreed standards to Advisers and Support staff, to protect the clients from any misselling and the Advisers and Company from any financial, regulatory or reputational damage
* Through consultative questioning of Advisers and Support staff identify the root cause to provide the most effective solution
* Acting as the subject matter expert
* Take a high degree of personal responsibility for maintaining awareness and improving own technical knowledge in the Financial Services and Wealth Management sector, Company products/processes/system knowledge as well as service skills
* Responsible for the application of the quality framework through quality checking of their colleagues for all queries relating to their specialism.

Required Skills:
* Ability to deal with complex queries and non standard tasks through analysis, creating bespoke solutions where necessary for Advisers and Support staff, using a variety of appropriate sources of information and data
* Utilise judgement and experience to suggest creative solution to complex problems.The adviser will be required to undertake complex calculations when assessing queries related to Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, annual lifetime pensions allowances and the analysis of ceding scheme information etc.

Required Technical Knowledge & Qualifications:
* Financial services experience including a broad knowledge of financial services products is required
* Good understanding of the FCA rules and framework
* A relevant recognised industry qualification such as the full Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) is the ideal minimum
* Applications without full Diploma will be considered with relevant experience.
