Excellent job opening for RMN Ward Manager to work in Acute unit in higly reputed hospital within the Wadhurst area. The post holder must be an experienced RMN with post registration experience at Charge Nurse/Deputy Ward Manager level.
The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary of Up to 29,000 - 35,000 dependent on experience
The hospital offers a comprehensive range of inter-linked care services within one site and provides a care pathway so service users can move seamlessly between services to provide the most appropriate care in the safest environment. The hospital provides four service lines:
Adult Acute psychiatric care units
continuing care/long stay adult rehabilitation and recovery units
children and adolescent mental health units (CAMHS)
An Acute Tier 4 unit -
A High Dependency Unit -
Young People and Adults Outpatient service
The hospital's consultant-led multidisciplinary teams (MDT) have a wealth of clinical and research experience in psychiatry, enabling service users to benefit from a broad range of individual and group therapies.
The successful applicant must be patient centered and have the ability to manage and provide a high quality service as well as the management skills to support the ward manager and the Multi Disciplinary team. The successful applicant will hold responsibilities for implementing and monitoring the sites and organisation Quality Goals in relation to outcomes for statuatory organisations such as the CQC.
The applicant will need to be a confident and effective leader who is motivated, dynamic, well organised and have a good knowledge of the core requirements of an Acute services. Experience of working in an acute setting or health management setting would be an advantage.
The role holder will also be responsible for leading terms effectively, providing mentoring and supervision to junior staff and ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to.
