The Priory Hospital Altrincham is located in a beautifully appointed and tranquil part of Cheshire. With access to an on-site Doctor 24 hours a day, we ensure a safe and comfortable atmosphere at all times. Our senior consultant and therapist-led teams are also supported by 24 hour, expert nursing care.

We are one of the UK's leading centres for the treatment of depression, anxiety and addictions and we provide consultant and therapist-led treatments for 50 patients on an inpatient or outpatient basis.

The striking manor-style house which stands upon beautiful, landscaped grounds provides a peaceful and homely feel to the hospital, delivering the perfect environment for treatment.

There is currently a vacancy for full time Administration Manager with PA duties at The Priory Hospital - Altrincham, providing efficient, professional and effective secretarial and administrative support to the Hospital Director and managing the reception and medical secretary teams. This post is for a fixed term of 12 months.

The role holder should be educated to NVQ5 in Management, HND, BTEC or equivalent with relevant experience of working in a role at a similar level and with some supervisory responsibility.

The role holder will be able to manage a small team covering a range of operational activities and will act as a role model providing expertise and guidance whilst managing performance and professional development.

The role holder will have highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills, liaising with a variety of staff within the hospital as well as external agencies and stakeholders and producing reports and statutory returns which meet defined quality standards.

Whilst providing one to one secretarial support for the Hospital Director the role holder will be expected to work effectively with all SMT members.

The role holder's key accountabilities will include organizing, attending and documenting all relevant meetings ensuring appropriate documentation is available and following up on action points for self and others, additionally they will be responsible for managing the complaints process and diary management.

It is important that the role holder is able to demonstrate initiative, with the ability to balance and prioritise the expectations of the individual that they are supporting. A flexible approach to problem solving is essential with the ability to improve and streamline processes where appropriate.
