My client require a PMO Manager to oversee and support the way the PMO services are delivered into projects and programmes. The PMO provides a delivery support service and provides services to the wider organisation around the coordination of change governance and central portfolio communications.

As PMO Manager you will be leading programme reviews to assure delivery by scrutinising alignment of outputs and key decisions to practices in combination with mentoring, coaching and training others in the change and governance frameworks and associated practices. You will manage a team of PMO Analyst and input into Strategy. Where appropriate you will provide hands on support to larger programmes when setting up and agreeing relevant PMO services required and take control and bring back on track failing projects.

Educated to degree level or equivalent you will have a professional qualification in project management (e.g. Axelos, APM, PMI or similar). You will have experience of managing PMO teams, in projects over £1million, through the entire project life cycle and have previously worked in a Portfolio Management/Change Management Office. With expert knowledge of project/programme management and associated techniques you will have had success in leading and line managing teams. Finally, strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills are key as is the ability to work well under pressure.
