Office Administrator

Acorn is recruiting on behalf of a client for an Office Administrator, to join their team at a Manufacturing site in Port Talbot.


Purpose of the role:


The successful applicant will:

Undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the team has adequate support to work efficiently.
The Office Administrator ensures smooth running of the office and contributes to driving sustainable productivity and performance.




Responsibilities:

Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
Manage agendas / travel arrangements / appointments in support of the department.
Manage phone calls and correspondence (email, letters, packages etc.)
Support budgeting and cost data collection.
Create and update records and databases.
Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
Submit timely reports and prepare presentations / proposals as assigned.
Assist colleagues whenever necessary.




Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritising and working with little supervision.
They will be selfmotivated and trustworthy.
Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Excellent organisational skills.
Familiarity with office management procedures.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software.
Qualifications relating to our support office administration will be an advantage.



The ability to drive and access to your own transport is essential for this role, due to the location of the site.

£9 £10 per hour depending on skills and experience.
