Internal Audits purpose is to help the Board and executive management to protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the company by challenging the effectiveness of the framework of controls which enable risk to be assessed and handled. They also remain passionate about action to deliver any needed risk and control improvements.

There remain opportunities within the Internal Audit team that focuses on Group Centre: being key functions such as Risk, Legal and Company Secretarial, Global Finance, IT and Operations and the Shared Service Teams (IT and Finance Operations) who support our Business Units and Markets grow and deliver through creative Customer and Digital led solutions.

They are looking to attract Senior Audit Managers with the right experience and capability who can pro actively engage with Senior Executives helping them deliver complex initiatives in a safer risk and control manner. These Executives and their teams are based in London, York and Norwich and we would expect you to be engaging with them in these locations..

Team and skills requirement

You will work collaboratively as part of an increasingly diverse and inclusive global team.

You will have technical abilities gained from your experience within Financial Services which you feel are applicable to the breadth of our organisation, our growth ambitions and core values. You maybe an experienced auditor or risk and control professional with a specialist discipline such as financial management , capital and liquidity management, enterprise risk management, corporate governance, data analysis and customer innovation with excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills. Together we will deliver clear, robust, independent and reliable opinions on the adequacy of the companys risk management and governance.

You will join an international community with daily opportunities to:

drafting and presenting impactful reports to senior management;
influence and make a difference.
