We are an independent company located in Bedford, Bedfordshire. We provide highly trained and qualified care staff to offer high-quality care solutions in a dignified manner. We use a range of helpful and friendly yet effective care techniques for adults who need help and support within their own homes.

We are looking to recruit a Trainer to oversee mandatory training courses and the ongoing development of our existing staff.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

- Manage all aspects of the company training from new starter mandatory training to refresher training for existing employees
- Be the direct line manager to a team of experienced Senior Carers who will be mentoring new carers following their initial training
- Follow up with new starters directly and through their Senior Carer to identify ongoing development areas
- Deliver training in-house (class room based) and out in the field
- Implement a new online training system and use this as a tool to manage all training
- Travel to various branches/locations to deliver training

The successful candidate will:

- Have at least 5 years experience in a similar role (preferably within the care industry)
- Be flexible to the business needs
- Be confident in delivering training in the field and within a classroom setting
- Have access to their own car and hold a Full UK Driving License
- Understand the importance of the ongoing development of staff
