Job Title: Unit Manager (RGN / RMN / RNLD)

Location: York, North Yorkshire

Salary: £33,000 per annum (£16.50 per hour) + excellent benefits

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours per week

We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced and motivated Unit Manager ( RGN / RMN / RNLD ) to work in a beautiful nursing home in York, North Yorkshire. The home is ideally situated on the outskirts of York and is within easy reach of public transport links, local shops and amenities. This bright and friendly home offers a warm, inviting and compassionate atmosphere to the staff, residents and their families. The home boasts excellent facilities including an experienced hair stylist, beauty salon, home cooked food, comfortable lounge areas for the residents to relax and unwind and a range of activities for the residents to enjoy at their leisure. Staff morale at the home is very high and the team are passionate about the high quality of care that they provide to each and every resident.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Unit Manager (RGN/ RMN/ RNLD) to join a leading, forward-thinking, healthcare provider in one of their lovely nursing homes in York, North Yorkshire. The service provides person centred care to the elderly, including residents with Dementia and Alzheimer's as well as caring for younger adults including residents with Epilepsy. The team are passionate about the care that they provide for the residents and are looking for a passionate and skilled Unit Manager to work alongside them ensuring the smooth running of the home.

Person Specification: Our client is looking for a Unit Manager of any specialism ( RGN, RMN or RNLD all considered). All candidates must have a valid NMC Pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. Nurses must have good communication skills, a hard-working nature and the willingness to get stuck in. Previous management experience is essential for this position.
