The Company: Our client is an established private investment and wealth management business committed to providing a high level of customer service as well as 1st class support to their employees. They have steadily grown to 11 staff, with this new role increasing the team to 12 and that growth is set to continue as the business flourishes.
The Role: As part of the Technical Support Team, you will be required to provide a paraplanning and technical support service for the firms Advisers and to assist them in the acquisition of new clients as well as the servicing of existing clients. The main elements within your brief include:
Analysing data received from the client/advisor and to formulate an agreed strategy for the client
Update internal reports, systems and processes in order to prepare client correspondence, including suitability reports.
Deal with queries from clients, Advisers or colleagues, taking the appropriate action to ensure the query is dealt with in a timely and effective manner.
Deliver a consistent level of technical support and excellent client service in accordance with FCA guidelines, internal policy and compliance levels and company service standards.
- Conduct regular client reviews prior to Adviser client meetings.
Skills / Experience Required: You must be an experienced Paraplanner with a background with extensive previous exposure to individual pensions, investments, life and protection lines. You should be keen to develop further down either the paraplanning path or indeed into an Adviser role and happy to carry on with professional qualifications. You should also have access to a car as sometimes client meetings take place out of the office.
Additional Information: Excellent training and development is available with full support and encouragement to complete industry qualifications and CPD if not already held. The salary for this role ranges from £35,000 to £40,000 with some flexibility for exceptional candidates and in addition there is 25 days holiday, DIS and Income Protection. The big thing though is the opportunity, to develop long term and be part of a genuinely excellent team.
