My well established client is looking for a Site supervisor to join their team temp to permanent. The role will suit someone who consistently delivers, on time and within budget, projects that far exceed client expectations. Site supervisors are responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.


  • To manage client interaction and promote positive relationships
  • To monitor project progress to ensure compliance with financial, operational, and/or scheduling requirements
  • To manage sub-contractors by monitoring and controlling performance
  • To meet operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying construction management system improvements
  • To meet construction budget by monitoring project expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions
  • Accomplishes construction project results by; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; evaluating change orders
  • Prevents fines and interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
  • Enhances organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Resolves worksite issues quickly and effectively in order to keep work progress on track

Essential Attributes:

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and means and methods
  • Strong ability to prioritise and develop work schedules that incorporate multiple trades
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of materials and resource allocation, construction tools, and execution according to plan specifications
  • Demonstrate confidence in spotting construction productivity issues and taking action to resolve them expeditiously
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and face-to-face
  • Strong ability to build relationships, lead others into action, and work exceptionally well under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • CSCS Card
  • IOSH
  • Ideally looking for someone from the Water industry but not essential
