As a market leader within the Pfi & PPP sector, this high-growth long term developer, investor and operator of public sector infrastructure assets supports a broad range of projects encompassing Property, Construction, Infrastructure and Waste Recycling. Continued and successful expansion has created an opportunity for a qualified accountant to undertake a Assistant Finance Manager role within the Projects Finance team. Supporting a Special Purpose Vehicle-SPV portfolio, your brief includes:
•Preparation & review of monthly management accounts for an SPV portfolio
•Driving the delivery of financial transactions including invoicing, credit control & payments
•Ensure compliance with contractual documentation & all agreed programmes & procedures
•Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
•Preparation of annual operating budget for review, approval & processing
•Preparation of treasury investment proposal & quarterly corporation tax payment calculation
•Review & approval of VAT, PAYE, NI, CT61 & R185 returns
•Management of statutory audit process, compiling audit working papers & liaison with auditors
•Preparation of draft annual statutory accounts for review
•Review of monthly bank reconciliations
As a graduate qualified accountant with a strong academic track record, you will be seeking to develop your existing technical accounting expertise within a commercial business environment. The role demands strong technical accounting and reporting skills, the ability to balance several projects simultaneously and the gravitas to build robust relationships with key stakeholders. A professional attitude, self-motivated approach and excellent interpersonal skills are prerequisite.
