Finance Technician - Cardiff Bay/Penarth Marina
City Administration Services Limited has been created to assist City Compliance Limited’s clients and provide outsource finance services to the London and Lloyd's Insurance Market. Our clients are predominately small, privately owned Insurance Brokers and Managing General Agents dealing with high value international insurance risks.
A dynamic, self motivated individual is required to manage the financial administration of its sister companies and third party clients.
The role is varied with complex and technical elements relating to regulated businesses and multiple currencies. Applicants must be AAT qualified with recent relevant finance experience, have a keen eye for detail, a thirst for knowledge and an analytical approach.
Key Duties will include:
? Sales and Purchase Ledger process and management for all firms
? Credit Control
? Bank reconciliation
? Bordereaux generation
? Insurance premium processing
? Management account reporting
? Annual accounts preparation
? Companies House filings/secretarial duties
? Financial Regulatory Returns for all clients
? Compliance administration
? Development and implementation of all finance processes
? BACs payment processing
? Ad-hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will be committed, tenacious, hard working, diligent and possess the ability, drive, self motivation and focus to work alone and unsupervised.
Exceptionally strong finance administration skills and experience is essential for this role along with a robust, advanced and current working knowledge of Sage, Microsoft Office, Google Apps and CRM/PPM type systems.
Knowledge and experience of the Insurance Industry, Regulatory Compliance is not essential but would be welcomed.

This exciting role is located in Cardiff Bay, near to Penarth Marina, within an innovative and inspiring work space which offers free gym and games room access, unlimited high quality drinks and a bright, modern, energising atmosphere.
The salary offered is £23,000 per annum with 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
Hours of work are flexible (after the probationary period) on a full time 35 hour working week.
A preferrable start date for the succesful applicant would be June 2017.
