We are recruiting for a field based Sales Engineer who will have a proven track record in sales, both in account management and generating new leads. Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, the Sales Engineer will be expected to achieve high performance and standard end mill sales against agreed growth targets, whilst providing continuous support to existing customers and end users. You will be hardworking, driven, and hungry for success.

The Field Sales Engineer Role:

+ You will be responsible for sales and gross profit margins with trading accounts to maximise sales and profit
+ Generating opportunities and conducting tool trials with the end user
+ Selling and establishing our products with the end user via select distribution
+ You will train distribution sales personnel and end users on the features and benefits of our products
+ Using your knowledge of customer demands, you will assist the Sales Manager with budget planning, distribution selection and forecasting
+ Research and report market trends in relation to our products

You will have:

+ An Engineering qualification (i.e. HNC, HND in Engineering) which is essential plus technical expertise and product or cutting tool knowledge
+ A successful track record of meeting growth sales targets 
+ Excellent communication and relationship building skills 
+ Understanding of sales financial principles, including calculation of costs and margins
+ Evidence of successfully managing projects
+ Positive, ‘can do’ attitude with a flexible, reliable approach to meeting the business needs
+ A full, valid driving licence
