A rapidly growing SaaS technology company based in the South West, is looking to appoint a Marketing Director who has extensive knowledge and experience of developing comprehensive marketing strategies and driving profitability within the Technology Sector.

As the Director of Marketing, you will partner with the COO and Executive team to develop and lead the channel marketing strategy, project management and execution of all marketing campaigns worldwide. Responsibilities will be focused on brand positioning, channel marketing, demand creation, consumer communications, and go-to-market strategies. This position is a member of the leadership team and you will work closely with the development, product, and sales teams to drive overall success and further establish the business as a global leader in Cloud software distribution.

Responsibilities

- Leadership and accountability for all marketing functions including communications, branding, design, marketing automation, digital marketing, and editorial content.
- Develop and execute a global marketing strategy to maximize brand awareness, growth, and profitability.
- Lead ideation and development of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring a unified brand voice across all consumer touchpoints.
- Build and implement a robust CRM by developing and communicating a deep understanding of customer journeys and customer lifetime value by channel and segment to inform future strategies
- Own the funnel and be the driving force behind pipeline growth and analytics
- Spearhead lead generation through digital, social, website, paid advertising, SEO, marketing automation, content marketing, PR, events, email, etc.
- Create seamless and effective go-to-market plans for product launches and campaigns to generate revenue, foster customer loyalty, and advocacy, and attract new customers.
- Perform relevant market research, analysis, and planning to identify new business opportunities and potential threats.
- Develop, manage and track ROI metrics.
- Build, manage and mentor a highly skilled marketing team.

Key skills

- Bachelor's degree or CIM Qualified, MBA preferred.
- Extensive experience in a senior management position.
- MUST have experience working B2B Technology/Software sectors.
- Proven track record of building best in class marketing teams.
- Outstanding achievement as a marketing leader.
- Proven track record developing a global brand into different stages of growth.
- Previous experience developing customer strategies to drive advocacy.
- Demonstrated success leading global marketing campaigns.
- Occasional international travel is required for this role.
