An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Sales Office Administrator to join a leading supplier of high quality industrial safety products, to help manage the company's administration and sales order process.

The Stafford based company is Staffordshire's number one supplier of PPE Personal Protective Equipment to the workplace, which includes safety products and safety footwear, embroidery and printing, janitorial supplies and spill equipment.

The company's client base include factories, trades people, local authorities, housing associations and care homes. The company pride's itself on being a leader in the provision of a fast and professional service to businesses within the local and surrounding areas.

As the Sales Office Administrator your duties will include:

- Managing the sales order process
- Responding to enquiries over the phone and in person at the collection point
- Providing quotations and invoicing
- Order acknowledgement, confirming orders and delivery dates
- Dispatch planning and arranging transport
- Inputting sales orders onto the computer system and updating once dispatched
- Liaising with the finance and supply teams, customers and hauliers

To be a successful Sales Office Administrator you will have the following skills and experience:

- Well organised, able to prioritise work and multi-task
- Able to work to deadlines and independently
- Able to learn and apply new skills and knowledge quickly
- Have a good attention for detail
- Excellent communication skills, with a professional telephone manner
- Able to use Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel, knowledge of XERO is desirable but not essential as training will be provided;
- Previous work experience in sales administration and account management would be a distinct advantage.

You will be working 8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8.30am - 4.00pm on Friday, with half hour for lunch.

In return, you will receive an attractive salary of £13,000 - £17,500 per annum, depending on experience, and 28 days holiday including bank holidays. Corporate uniform will be provided.
