A QHSE Systems Engineer is required in Sheffield, South Yorkshire with a world class manufacturer, working within the metals industry. Reporting directly to the HSEQ Manager, the QHSE Systems Engineer will take control of the systems and procedures of the business, and build the systems around the business needs. QHSE Systems Engineer Duties and Responsibilities Include: - To ensure that the Company's Management Systems are fit for purpose for the business environment in which the organisation operate - To ensure that the company's procedures, processes and systems meet the requirements of the International Standards to which it subscribes - To identify and promote continual improvement opportunities in line with Company objectives - To assist and mentor operational and functional management in order to understand, comply and improve system requirements - Liaise with management to achieve best practice across all functions - Maintain documented systems to ISO standards - Develop and implement audit programmes to meet the business and standards requirements - Ensure adequate document control systems are in place and effective The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience: - Must have a good working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001, - Have a working knowledge of Health Safety and Environmental regulations (desirable) - Excellent organisational and planning skills - IT Skills - Excellent oral/written communication skills If you would like to hear more about this vacancy, please contact Jack Hattersley on 01709 723 224
