Account Manager - Digital & Creative

We are working with an exciting creative communications agency based near Moorgate, London and they have an urgent need for either a Freelance or Permanent Account Manager (Digital & Creative) to come on board asap before 28th August to take over client accounts that are growing.

The Account Manager (Digital & Creative) will need to be proactive and juggle multiple client needs at the same time. You will need experience of Digital, Design, Creative and Studio as the client projects are varied.

The Account Manager (Digital & Creative) will typically have or be:

  • Organised, with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills;
  • Effective at meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their advertising/ marketing requirements;
  • Be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Work with agency colleagues to devise advertising/marketing campaigns/solutions that meet the client's brief and budget;
  • Take client briefs and write inspiring creative briefs, have strong presentation skills and be persuasive; able to sell work and ideas and respond positively to feedback (however negative);
  • Work with the rest of the agency to brief creative, design, digital and studio staff and assist with the formulation of marketing strategies;
  • Be resilient and positive in difficult situations;
  • Be flexible and able to solve problems;
  • Capable of ensuring that project deadlines and budgets are met, communicating and seeking approval of any changes;
  • Identify ways to grow accounts through new business opportunities;
  • Excellent at writing contact reports, handling budgets, managing campaign costs and invoicing clients;
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns;
  • Keeping the client and the team up to date with useful knowledge;
  • Making 'pitches', along with other agency staff, to try to win new business for the agency.

Our client specialises in the Financial Services, Professional Services and Not For Profit sectors. The role they currently have is for an Account Manager to assist Senior Account Directors in handling some very important pieces of agency business.

These accounts require a proactive and pragmatic approach as they involve a large amount of documentation and presentation checking as well as late/last minute briefings with very fast turnaround times. The successful candidate will be able to operate on multiple projects simultaneously whilst under pressure to deliver, on time and on budget.

The scope of work is varied; from PowerPoint presentations, through animated films, digital advertising units, brochure ware, exhibition stands and promotional items to specialist direct marketing and selling systems.

The vast majority of work they do is heavily regulated so knowledge of the Financial Conduct Authority (the FCA) rules around promotional activity would be an advantage.
