Based from our office in Sheffield you will assist in the preparation of the monthly accounts, group reporting and provide support for the Budgeting/Forecasting process.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare the monthly reporting of financial data via SAP ensuring the completeness and integrity of timely reported figuresReview and analyse all discrepancies between internal/external reports to improve the reliability and consistency of reported dataResponsible for the preparation of Central Accruals and Prepayments to a high standard ensuring the completeness/accuracy of data and spreadsheets used to prepare them Completion of all monthly tasks required for the preparation and execution of the month end. Assist with the preparation of monthly group reporting submissions Analysis of the results on a monthly basis and contribute to the collation of monthly management reporting Finance Partner to Central Cost Centre Managers where necessarySupport other finance staff with the production of Central Budgets and Forecasts Act as SAP Master User in the FI/CO module and support the Finance team with SAP-related queries Responsible for preparing Balance Sheet reconciliations as allocated to an acceptable standard Ensure the correct reporting of payroll Continuous improvement of processes and proceduresDeal with ad hoc reporting requests/queries as and when they arise
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSSAP Key/Master User with solid experience in FI-CO, FI-CCA & FI-PCA (Substantial experience of SAP system) Good IT skills, in particular Microsoft Excel are a pre-requisiteDemonstrable experience of working in management accountingAnalysis skills, experience of budgeting and forecastinCommercial experience in multinational businessGood communication and inter-personal skillsAbility to manage own workload, plan effectively to achieve tight deadlines and take full responsibility of assigned tasksExperience of managing the expectations of stakeholders both internal and external An adaptable individual with integrity, a commitment to excellence and high attention to detail Confident, calm, positive, approachable manner with the ability to respond well to pressure Proven track record of achieving deadlines Team workingAbility to cultivate successful working relationships with individuals with diverse working backgrounds in many different countriesPart or newly qualified accountancy qualification CIMA or ACCA
