Credit Controllers / Assistant Credit Controllers - Blackburn

The Role
The objectives are to work as part of our successful Credit Control team, dealing with all aspects of credit control, to collect aged debt, achieve monthly cash collection and arrange reduction targets and maintain high levels of customer service at all times.
The role will be Monday to Friday and involve the collection of overdue customer debts, provision of telephone response to customer enquiries or queries and administration. Other areas of responsibility would involve debt collection using telephone and letter procedures against monthly pre-set individual and department targets; ensuring debts are paid within terms, keeping overdue debt to a minimum; preparation of overdue debts for legal action and liaison with branches with regard to dispute resolution, whilst also undertaking general office duties, such as filing, faxing, photocopying etc.

The Candidate
You may already be an experienced Credit Controller or, if you do not have previous credit control experience, you will need to have clear, confident communication skills and be comfortable making outbound telephone calls. As an Assistant Credit Controller, you will need experience of working to targets / KPIs in an office based environment or call centre, outbound telephone based experience, excellent customer service and administration skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience of JDE is advantageous.

Chubb is recruiting three Credit Controllers or Assistant Credit Controllers for our Blackburn credit control shared service centre (Shadsworth, BB1) - two Maternity Contracts up to 12 Months (dealing with Otis collections) and one Permanent (for Chubb collections).
