Reed Recruitment in Bradford are currently representing an industry leader who are looking to appoint a Commercial Manager to their reputable and expanding business.

In your role as commercial manager you will be reporting directly to the Finance Director and the Managing Director, whilst maintaining the smooth day-to-day operations of a busy commercial office.

As a Market leading company, my client can offer a highly competitive salary + Car allowance + benefits. Working hours are generally 08:00am-17:00 Monday-Friday however candidates must be flexible and able to start sooner and finish later if required.

Main Duties:
-Assist in the implementation and management of a new contract management software system
-Complete substantive reports of monthly revenue and WIP
-Review commercial performance of all work streams and projects to report back to directors
-Report on a monthly basis on the performance of all work streams delivered in -month, forecasting turnover & gross margin for the financial year
-Complete all necessary cost reporting inclusive of Cost Value Reconciliations
-Ongoing management of client commercial relations
-Review working practices & implement new commercial processes where required
-Review client contract documents prior to completing
-In conjunction with Bid Team, review workload and supply chain requirements to ensure revenue targets can be met
-Assist Service Directors & Finance Director in application of business Profit & Loss
-Engaging subcontractors & suppliers as required.
-In conjunction with Commercial Support Manager assess the overall performance of work streams and report on appropriate measures required to deliver the business targets
-Assist in designing a labour planning and job forecasting tool within the new contract management system
-Assist in estimation of contracts where required
-Complete valuations & Invoices where required
-Undertake individual schemes as Project QS where required



The ideal candidate will have the following:
-Commercial Managerial experience
-Experience of implementing system changes
-Ideally from a construction or environmental background
-Motivated by success
-Strong leadership skills
-Good interpersonal skills
-Experience of using large scale Operational or Accounting software
-Advanced M/S Office user
