Nigel Wright is currently recruiting an area sales account manager for a key client to account manage it's dealer network in the North West and Wales. The business is one of the market leaders in the garden machinery sector and is looking for a commercially astute B2B account manager to join their successful team.

Duties:

  • Implement company sales and marketing strategies within the territory
  • Achieve sales turnover and margin budget (target) for the territory
  • Manage and grow the dealer accounts within the territory
  • Manage the dealer network within the Selective Distribution agreement (SELDIS)
  • Achieve width and depth of all product categories within the dealer network
  • Manage trade marketing activities to encourage sell-through within the dealer network
  • Manage dealer payment behaviour within Accounts Receivable Dept. guidelines
  • Gather market and competitor intelligence

Person Spec:

  • Sales and account management experience (ideally within a deler network)
  • Team player but also able to work independently with a strong `self-starter` attitude
  • Commercially astute, numerate and with an appreciation for pricing, costs and profitability
  • Shows initiative and a desire for development and improvement
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Good communications skills (oral and written)
  • Good time management skills
  • IT literate (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Full UK driving licence
