Trainee Administration Assistant


12 month fixed term contract

We are looking for a Trainee Administration Assistant to join our National Training team, based at our Alfreton site. This role will support a network of national Regional Trainers, reporting directly into the National Training Manager.

The primary scope of this role is to administer training for site personnel across Yodel, combining compliance training, skills training on the job, courses managed by both internal and external providers. The ideal candidate will possess experience administration abilities, along with excellent people and time management skills.

The main duties of this role will include, but not be limited too, the following:

Support in the processing and maintenance of all administration for the national network of Regional Trainers

Ensure induction plans are in place for all identified employees and that they are conducted in a timely and comprehensive manner

Support in identify the prioritisation of all training (compliance, job specific and skills based) to ensure training plans are coordinated and timed to fit operational priority areas.

Liaise with preferred training suppliers to organise dates and rooms

Support in the arrangement of transport and accommodation for the regional trainers

Support in the scheduling of training activities ensuring optimum attendance

Update training records to ensure accurate reports

Support in ensuring assessments and accreditations are logged in the appropriate system

Support in creation of reports and analysis for site teams to show activity plans

Work closely with the business to ensure that training plans and activities are aligned to Yodels people strategy

Support the wider Group Support Services function with administration of legislation compliance record keeping as required

Work as part of the wider Group Support Services team delivering value add to the business

Provide support to colleagues & managers on all matters training related
