An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly expanding construction company based in Central London. Having seen their turnover rise 40% over the past 12 months, they now turnover £100m. With a well-known portfolio of clients, they have a strong and well regarded reputation in the market place for the quality of their work.

They are seeking to add a Financial Controller/Manager to their team on a permanent basis. Working closely with their Finance Director and Company Directors you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance team and developing, and implementing strong controls and procedures as they continue to grow.

Your duties shall include;
- Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with financial reporting standards, annually and half yearly.
- Assisting with the annual budgeting process and monthly reviews
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly management accounts
- Preparation of cash flow forecasts and monitoring cash flow
- Submission of quarterly VAT returns and assessing project VAT status
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, corporation tax, VAT and PAYE
- Ensure all subcontractor invoices are processed in accordance with CIS regulations
- Oversee sales & purchase ledger invoices and payments, bank reconciliations, petty cash, and company credit cards
- Develop and implement improved financial reporting systems
- Ad-hoc projects as required by senior management

The ideal candidate for this role shall be;
- ACA/ACCA Qualified (Or Equivalent) 2-3 years Post Qualification Experience
- Ideally have trained within a mid-tier accounting firm
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and the proven ability to add value
- High attention to detail, and keen to take ownership and improve processes
- You will have excellent knowledge of excel and project accounting systems ideally
