COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE:
Our Client is well established and rapidly growing
Engineering/Manufacturing business and world leader in their field.
This role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced
Maintenance Millright.
The successful candidate will undertake planned, preventive and reactive
maintenance activities on equipment, tools and facilities across the
whole site.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for ensuring safe working practices are followed at all
times.
* Effective planned preventive maintenance of equipment, tools and
facilities, with an emphasis on breakdown prevention through the
continual development of PPM procedures.
* Installation and/or modification of equipment as required.
* Root cause analysis of breakdowns and implementation of effective
reoccurrence prevention plans using tools such as Major Breakdown
Reports.
* Work as part of a maintenance team and demonstrate good communication
skills in interfacing with other departments, suppliers, contractors
and manufacturers as required.
* Operating access platforms including scissor lifts and cherry
pickers.
* Use of PC for accessing information, emails and completing reports.
* Training and mentoring of apprentices.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
* Qualified to HNC/HND Preferably, or ONC/OND and must time
served/Served an Apprenticeship in a machine shop environment.
* Must have experience of maintaining CNC’s, lathes and milling
machines
