Salary: Unqualified Lecturer: £20,155 - £29,037 pro rata: Qualified Lecturer: £23,178 - £33,340 pro rata per annum

We are looking to recruit an ambitious, dynamic Beauty Therapy Lecturer to join our existing multi-site and multi-discipline Hairdressing and Beauty Department. Successful applicants will be required to teach Beauty Therapy and Nail Technology to Levels 1, 2 and 3 students. You will be required to carry out learning and assessment activities, develop and enhance the existing curriculum to meet industry requirements, whilst ensuring your Teaching and Learning is consistently delivered to the highest standard. You will also be required to undertake a teaching commitment of up to approximately 15 hours per week on a part-time contract. In addition to a recent proven record of success in a similar role and relevant vocational/business and current industrial experience, you will need to hold a relevant advanced professional qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) in Beauty Therapy and/or Nail Technology, a teaching qualification, Assessor/Verifier Awards and have successful proven experience of teaching.

This role is to cover maternity leave and will start in August 2017.
