Salary: Qualified Lecturer: £23,178 - £33,340 pro rata : Unqualified Lecturer: £20,155 - £29,037 pro rata Full time and Part-time hours available up to 37 hours per week

We are looking to recruit an ambitious, dynamic Specialist Make-up and Hairdressing Lecturer to join our existing multi-site and multi-discipline Hairdressing and Beauty Department. You must be a highly skilled and motivated individual whose passion is to inspire students, to excel and achieve the highest standards of employability skills. We endeavour to ensure all of our lecturers deliver consistently outstanding Teaching and Learning.
Successful applicants will be required to teach Specialist Make-up and Hairdressing, Level 2 and 3 students. You will be required to carry out learning and assessment activities, develop and enhance the existing curriculum to meet industry requirements, whilst ensuring your Teaching and Learning is consistently delivered to the highest standard. You will also be required to undertake a teaching commitment of up to 24 hours per week. Our primary focus is towards the successful applicant having had current industrial experience within the field of specialist make-up. We would welcome applications from industry experts in areas such as theatre, fashion, editorial, TV and film. You will need to hold a relevant advanced professional qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) in Specialist Make-up and Hairdressing Wig making.
This start date for this role is 21st August 2017, ready for the new academic year.
