Salary: £26,973 pa pro rata

This role is for 23 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Major Tasks:
1. Provide careers IAG directly to students
2. Coordinate HE preparation activities for students
3. Act as UCAS online coordinator
4. Liaise with internal and external staff and agencies
5. Market services and activities
6. Take part in continuous professional development
7. Monitor the quality of the service, keep records and produce reports
8. Produce submissions for additional funding to enhance the service
9. Manage and develop the Careers and HE advice team within Student Services
10. Any other duties commensurate with the post as may be requested by the Student Services Manager

It is essential that you have a Diploma in Careers Guidance, (QCF Level 6, or the QCF Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development) and are educated to degree level.

You will also hold a minimum Level 3 Leadership and Management qualification (if not held it will be a requirement to gain in post)

You will have a minimum of 2 years (post probationary) experience in Careers Advice and Guidance in an education or community setting.
