Student Counsellor

Salary: £29,397 pa pro rata

Start Date: 4 September 2017

Contract: Part Time and Permanent

This role is for 15 hours per week, 32 weeks per year.

You will be required to provide a counselling service for students to include therapeutic, developmental and preventative ensuring that the service offered is in accordance with the principles set out in the British Association for Counselling's ethical framework.

It is essential that you hold a relevant professional qualification or working towards accreditation by BACP or UKCP and hold a minimum of Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.

It is also essential that you have at least one year's experience of counselling a range of client groups, including 16-19 year olds.

Please note an enhanced DBS will be required for this role. The successful candidate is required to meet the payment of this DBS check which is currently £44.
