Graduate Counsellor

£9,000 per annum (£18,000 per annum FTE)

18.5 hours per week (4 days per week, split across our LRC campus and Nunsthorpe campus)

Fixed term for 1 year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Counsellor within our Learner Services department. The role will consist of contributing to the provision of counselling to students with issues ranging from emotional to psychological, referrals to appropriate internal and external support where required and maintaining a confidential and professional work manner.

The ideal candidate would need to have graduated within the last 12 months in Counselling, Psychotherapy or a related subject as well as having access to their own transport so they are able to travel between sites.
